First, prepare the solution since it is shipped with the powder concentrate inside:
1) Open and fill with water (hot water helps it dissolve faster). 2) Close, and shake until dissolved, or let it sit overnight to dissolve.
For Spot cleaning:
1) Pour directly on spot, or spray on. 2) Agitate with finger tips, or other method. 3) Let stand for about 1 minute. 4) Wipe, or blot off with clean towel. 5) Repeat if necessary. 6) No need to extract.
For use in a carpet cleaning machine (Bissel, Hoover, Rug Doctor, etc):
1) Vacuum areas to be cleaned. 2) After Preparing Solution as step above, Pretreat stains, spots, and high traffic areas at full strength straight from the bottle after you've completed step 1 above in adding water to the bottle. 3) Then, depending on how dirty the carpet is, use 1 to 2 cups (8-16oz) of Prepared Solution per gallon of water, in carpet machine, and/or follow machine's instructions.
